Organisation-level files (the Files section)
The Files section lives inside your organisation’s workspace and is the right place for documents that aren’t tied to a single transaction.Uploading a file
Navigate to the Files section
Open your organisation in Centi and select Files from the left-hand navigation.
Open the Uploaded files folder
Click the Uploaded files folder row to expand it. If no files have been added yet, the folder shows an empty drop zone.
Upload your file
Click + Upload file in the folder header, or drag and drop a file directly onto the drop zone. Centi accepts PDF, DOCX, and XLSX files up to 10 MB each.
Supported file types
| Format | Extension | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
.pdf | Signed agreements, KYC packs, board resolutions | |
| Word document | .docx | Draft agreements, internal memos |
| Excel spreadsheet | .xlsx | Data exports, investor schedules |
Deleting a file
To remove a file, expand the Uploaded files folder, hover over the file you want to delete, and click the delete icon. Deletion is permanent — Centi does not keep a version history for organisation-level files.Transaction and stakeholder attachments
When you register a transaction, Centi attach supporting documents directly to that record. These attachments stay linked to the transaction and the involved stakeholder so anyone reviewing the deal later can access the source documents without searching elsewhere. Typical transaction attachments include:- Contract notes — the formal record of a share issue or transfer
- Signed subscription agreements — investor-accepted offer documents
Visibility and access
| Document type | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Organisation Files (uploaded files) | All fund users with access to the organisation |
| Transaction attachments | Fund users and the buyer named on the transaction |
